I've always been drawn to the spiritual dialogue between people who live close to the Earth and the landscapes they inhabit. My work explores indigenous cultures and the traditions that connect them to the land—from the high plateaus of the Andes to the remote valleys of the Himalayas.
I'm always driven by the opportunity to learn from others. Every journey begins with curiosity and deep respect for the communities I encounter. Whether sharing a meal with a family in a remote Tibetan village or witnessing ancient ceremonies on Easter Island, the camera opens doors to meaningful connections that transcend language and cultural barriers.
Through these experiences, I've come to understand that photography isn't just about capturing images—it's about listening, observing, and honoring the stories people share. The wisdom within indigenous traditions offers profound lessons about our relationship with the land, with each other, and with ourselves. My work seeks to preserve and celebrate these perspectives in a rapidly changing world.
I hold a master's degree in electrical engineering from the University of Delaware, with an emphasis in digital image and signal processing. My passion for photography began in Philadelphia, where continuing education classes at the University of the Arts sparked a creative awakening. Since then, driven by curiosity about our world, I've used the camera and photo essay as my means of exploration and expression.
